Thumbnail Filmstrip of Rudbeckia laciniata - Green-headed Coneflower Images
Growing from 3 to 6 feet tall, the stately Rudbeckia laciniata features unusual green-centred cones with drooping bright yellow petals. Naturally found alongside streams and pond edges, the Green-headed Coneflower is perfect for naturalizing moist areas but also does quite well in the garden forming loose clumps of tall, wiry stems with smooth, deeply cut foliage and it attracts the butterflies and songbirds as well!
